Lots of anatomy books
What are you angry about?
The inaction of our society and leaders on Climate change and environmental impacts. I’m passionate about sustainability and people’s absolute disregard or lack of empathy for our planet and each other never ceases to anger (and dishearten) me.
What are you exultant about?
Passing my first semester of osteopathy at university. And getting married in March next year!
What are you enjoying wearing the most?
I’m embarrassed to say it, my Aldi Oodie. I swore I’d never get one, but I was gifted one and now I looooove it. (I pair it with my pink sparkly Ugg boots)
Where is the best place to be on a Saturday night?
I love a night in. Sitting on my couch with Rob and Stinky Cat (long story haha, he was a stray, he’s the best cat ever), watching science shows or Vampire Diaries.
What’s your favourite Sunday breakfast?
My fiancé makes the best poached eggs and veggie patty for breakfast on Sunday mornings. If he’s not up for cooking, Jolly Miller makes a great smashed avo.
What is the perfect weekend?
Yoga in the morning, followed by a delicious breakfast. Then spending time with my family or friends doing something random/educational or soothing (think; taking silly photos at the Instagram exhibition, going to science works or relaxing at the hot springs) then a MasterChef inspired dinner and then snuggle up with dessert and a musical on the TV.
Who do you find most inspiring?
So many people for so many different reasons. Anyone who is living their authentic life, standing up for what they’re passionate about, is empathetic and caring, is someone we should all aspire to be.
What tune or song do you never want to hear again?
There’s many old dance numbers I’d like to move on from, ie. Dance of the sugar plum fairies.
What is your favourite sound or noise?
I’m really partial to some glass tapping ASMR.
Who has the best laugh?
My best friend Belle, she always gets me cracking up when she’s laughing, her laugh is so contagious.
When feeling sad, what do you do to get out of this funk?
I hug my loved ones, my fiancé, my mum, my cat, anyone who will let me hug them haha. I also have a little journal which I’ve written a whole bunch of things I’m grateful for, things I love about myself, things that make me smile and a list of quotes or references from books that make me feel grateful, happy, or remind me that it’s ok to be sad for a bit.
Where is the ultimate holiday destination?
I love travel. I’ve been lucky enough to travel quite a lot of the world already. I’d love to go to Egypt one day. My fiancé and I are thinking we might go to the Maldives for our honeymoon.
Who would you most like to meet and why?
Sarah Wilson, (author, podcaster and climate advocate.) Her books and podcasts resonate really strongly with me. Sarah opens discussions about really important topics such as mental health and climate change, but does so in a way that’s approachable and comes from a place of empathy.

How we do anything, is how we do everything. It’s applicable in every aspect of our lives and is so interesting to reflect on.
