All our classes are for everybody and EVERY body. They cater to the individual who is willing to give it a good go. We are all qualified teachers who can provide modified moves that are safe and as you establish a regular practise, you become fitter and stronger and will be able to move and do more. As long as you are giving it your best and having fun at the same time!
Yoga essentially works with the function of breathe and flexibility, Pilates works with mobility and stability The two disciplines complement each other and both help increase the efficiency of blood flow, and oxygen intake making you fitter, healthier and happier.
Not in the first trimester and with the approval of your medical doctor. This said, we only recommend pregnant women to practice if they have had a regular practice of at least 6 months.
Your second class is your most important class so we recommend that you come back as soon as you can with the aim of practising 3-5 times a week. Once is better than none, but 3 times a week maintains it and up to 5 times you make real changes and will start to experience the full benefits of a regular practice.
We recommend that you prepare for your hydration 3 hours before class and just little sips up until class time. It takes 3 hours for the body to digest water and if you allow a 3 hour break, the need to leave the room will be more manageable. This said, you are in control of your own body and know it better than anyone else so we always encourage you to listen to it.
In conjunction with a healthy eating plan, a good attitude and a regular practice (up to 5 times), generally new students experience a significant change in their bodies (whether this be an improvement in posture, weight loss, decrease in dress size), outlook on life, relationships with their loved ones improve and most importantly, the relationship with their bodies improve.
If you have booked to attend a 6am class and wish to cancel your attendance, you must process the cancellation through the online booking system up to 9 hours prior to the scheduled commencement time for the class. We will not accept cancellations by phone, e-mail or any other method other than by using the online booking system.
Clients on an unlimited membership that book in to the 6 am class and either do not cancel 9 hours prior to class or do not show up will be charged $25 No Show Fee. Clients on a 10/50 class pass membership will have a class deducted. Payment will be automatically processed via our online system. By booking online you are agreeing to our policy.
